Our Happiness Guarantee
- Returns will be accepted within 1 year.
- Items must be unused and in like-new condition.
- You can return part of a set for a partial refund.
- Refunds issued within one week after we receive the return.
We want every child to love their reading experience. If you are not 100% satisfied with an item purchased directly from our website, you may return it within one year of purchase for a refund.
Items must be unused and in like-new condition. If you return part of a discounted set, your refund will be adjusted so you pay the regular retail price ($8.99 per book) for the books you keep. If the value of the books you keep is more than the set price, no refund will be issued.
We will reimburse the original purchase price to your original method of payment whenever possible. If that isn’t possible, we will issue a refund by check. Charges for faster shipping (if selected) are not refundable.
If your order was placed through a school, scholarship, grant program, or another organization, the refund will be issued directly to the original ordering entity.
Schools, libraries and retailers: Sales to schools, libraries, and retailers are not returnable except in the case of damaged items. Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect. Claims must be made within 10 days of delivery.
Products purchased from one of our retail partners must be returned to that retailer and are subject to their return policies.
ESA and state scholarship orders: Because each state has its own requirements, orders paid with an education savings account (ESA) or state scholarship funds can be returned within 45 days of purchase for a full refund, subject to your state program's rules. Please email hello@beautifulbooks.com before returning any items.
