At Beautiful Books, our books are designed for children just beginning to read on their own. We publish joyful, confidence-building stories that help kids fall in love with reading.

What We're Looking For
Our books span a range of themes—from cozy forest tales to roaring truck adventures—but all of them feature:
- Emotionally rich characters
- Engaging storytelling
- Thoughtfully composed illustration
We require that all artwork is created digitally, but we’re drawn to styles that mimic traditional media—textures that feel warm, handcrafted, and organic.
How We Work
- We provide clear art direction and helpful references
- We value collaboration and illustrator input
- Books are typically 32 pages: 12 full spreads plus a cover
- Text is minimal and tightly controlled—you’ll carry much of the storytelling visually
- We work on a Work For Hire basis and purchase full rights to the artwork
